Company profileHEARTS Academy Trust was established in 2011 and is inspired by its values of happiness, self-esteem, achievement, respect and responsibility, truth, spirituality and service, all of which are deliberately permeated throughout our schools, our relationships and organisation. These values are at the core of all our work, decision making, strategic direction, relationships and the curriculum that our pupils learn.HEARTS Academy Trust is an organisation rooted in the principle that every child possesses the potential to succeed through an exceptional education experience. We are a multi-academy trust compromised of six schools (including a Church of England school) with the addition of an enhanced provision, located in Essex. We are a close-knit trust with a ’family feel’, and we foster deep and meaningful relationships with all stakeholders; we place “Children at the HEART” of all we do.The ethos of our trust is based on our HEARTS values, coupled with the belief that all pupils develop into well-rounded, confident and compassionate individuals. We deliver an ambitious and engaging curriculum including the HEARTS Promise together with a strong pastoral support programme which ensures that all pupils overcome barriers to learning – no child is left behind. We also recognise and celebrate the distinctiveness of each school within our trust, valuing their diversity and commitment to meet the needs of each unique community they serve. We are also proud that effective collaboration and strong, shared professional development for staff has enabled us to continually improve and become the high-performing establishment that we are today; working together has allowed us to build expertise across our settings, meeting common goals and giving our pupils an inclusive, ambitious and innovative learning community for all. We celebrate and embrace these differences and ensure that each school retains its distinct identity – an important consideration as we look to grow and expand, continuing our good work.
