Job Description:
I’m searching for a Product Marketing Manager, (Maternity cover - 12–15-month contract depending on start date), for a fantastic, rapidly growing ecommerce company based in Medway. As Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and enhancing my client’s Global E-commerce Platform (GEP). With a focus on the consumable products, exclusives, and laboratory products, you will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of e-commerce, promotions, and advertising, complemented by excellent data analysis skills. Day to Day of the role:
* Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Business Heads to develop and implement a marketing plan that maximises product sales and profitability.
* Work with the GEP team to optimise the e-commerce platform strategy, including the use of Hubspot and Salesforce for sales optimisation.
* Ensure product information is optimised and utilise Dynamic Yield for advertising, personalisation, and testing across the site.
* Manage promotion setups in E-commerce Cloud for GEP and maintain the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
* Understand market conditions and collaborate with category Managers on strategy and communications.
* Develop strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring regular meetings and maximising supplier rebates.
* Manage vendor day and telesales strategy to maximise sales and commissions.
* Keep supplier marketing schedules up to date and invoice monthly for all rebates and marketing activities.
* Manage the budget effectively and report on finances monthly.
* Use Qlik sales data to analyse marketing activity and drive future strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within a B2B industry.
* Understanding of e-commerce platforms and their potential.
* Proven success in campaign management.
* Management experience with a team of at least 3 staff.
* Advanced Excel skills and strong data manipulation ability.
* Solid budget management skills.
* Knowledge of Qlik is advantageous.
