Building a relationship of trust is the foundation to exercising choice and feeling valued. Carers also support residents with their medication when assessed as needing this support. Full training will be given.
Each resident has an electronic care plan. Carers play an important role in entering progress notes from their visits and reading what others have entered, therefore a good level of IT skills including the use of mobile phones is required.
