Your Company:
An opportunity for a Motorcycle Technician has become available within an automotive business located in the Bournemouth area. As a leader within the market, this business provides a range of services to its business and individual customers, relating to vehicle sales and vehicle repairs and maintenance. The position holder in this role will be responsible for undertaking maintenance and repair work on motorcycle vehicles specifically, as part of the dedicated aftersales team to ensure that customers are always happy with their purchases and that vehicles meet their expectations and safety standards.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
* Undertaking preparation work for both new and used motorcycles on site as it is required.
* Conducting various repair and servicing work for motorcycles, ensuring faults are diagnosed, reported and that work done meets the safety requirements.
* Fitting out vehicles with spare parts and accessories as directed by the workshop controller.
* Conducting MOT testing as it is needed on site.
* Making sure to meet the manufacturer’s targets and standards at all times.
* Adhering to health and safety standards, regulations and rules at all times while on site and conducting work.
What you will need to Apply:
The ideal candidate for this role would have extensive previous experience working specifically within a motorcycle workshop and repair centre, and it is highly desired for applicants to have specific Ducati experience, however this is not essential. Applicants should have a fantastic, positive attitude and a passion for motorcycles that will reflect in the quality of their work. Good communication skills are also expected.
