Job Description:

Our Client is a global logistics and distribution organisation. They operate in 44 countries around the world. Their global revenue exceeds £10 billion per annum and they employ almost 160,000 people.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Analyst for a Hybrid, 6 Month contract based in Edinburgh.
Purpose of the Role:
The Business Analyst position entails understanding the downstream impact on the client’s operations during a Merger. The role involves reviewing website requirements, documenting current and future states, and overseeing applications. The position requires expertise in transitional service agreements and legal requirements, particularly regarding a rebranding deadline set for February. Ideal candidates will have experience with large-scale mergers, process mapping, and customer journey analysis.
Responsibilities of the role:
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for:
* Reviewing data across applications for transition.
* Retained closed book customer requirements, including review of current customer documentation.
* Data gathering and creation of documentation for transition support.
* Selects appropriate modelling techniques and models current and desired future scenarios.
* Documenting business requirements, ensuring source traceability and adherence to specified standards, utilising prescribed methods and tools.
* Taking responsibility for analysis for change initiatives of medium size and complexity.
* Working with stakeholders and the team to investigate operational issues, problems and opportunities.
What we require from the candidate:
* Experience working on separation of business or mergers, and worked through end-to-end process, TSA (Transitional Service Agreement) or TSP (Transitional Service Processes).
* Experience in customer journey mapping to identify touchpoints, communication needs, and process flows for enhancing customer experience.
* Ability to review websites and understand requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and standards.
* Demonstrated experience in managing transitional service agreements, preferably in the context of mergers or large-scale organisational changes.
