My partner Secondary School located in Dewsbury are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity for a committed educator to contribute to the thriving school community and become permanent after a certain amount of time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
* Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work to ensure high standards of learning and achievement.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for English literature and language.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support to help each student achieve their full potential.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school’s curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in English and a proven track record of successful teaching.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the school’s positive ethos.
