Job Description:
TristoneNash have partnered with a highly reputable social housing provider who is seeking to appoint an Income Officer.
Location: South Wales
Start date: ASAP
Home-working: Three days working from home per week
Length of Contract: 12 months
Pay: £32,750 to £33,050
Hours of work: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Your duties in this role would include:
* Chasing rent arrears from tenants, ranging in value of account
* Arranging repayment plans with tenants and giving out benefits/UC advice
* Offering advice on housing benefits to clients
* Enabling clients to maximise their income
* Attending clients’ homes for visits to discuss their rental accounts
* Handling court paperwork process, attending court if required and service notices
* Helping clients to sustain their tenancies and signposting them to external support services
Essential requirements for this role:
* Ability to support clients, ensuring they understand any issues and advising them
* Experience in chasing rent arrears in some capacity
* Ability to manage a patch of properties and manage time effectively
