The Opportunity
A thriving company part of a national group but operating as a stand alone business are seeking a credit controller for sole position operating within an established finance team.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the entire ledger, typically c£2m per month across various clients from smaller value in invoices to national accounts. You’ll be building those all important relationships, overseeing payment allocation, chasing overdue debt and working within a target DSO level, negotiating payment plans, ensuring customers pay on time and working up to legal proceedings where required, liaising with external agencies where required

The Candidate
We’re looking to draw interest from applicants who demonstrate experience within Credit Control as a primary role. Ideally you’ll be well versed with Sage (not essential) but you’ll also know your way around a spreadsheet and have a good working knowledge around credit control processes. You’ll be customer focused with a logical and diplomatic approach to maintaining a sales ledger

You’ll also need to be confident, agile and adaptable, a true team player with excellent soft skills.
