The Role:
We have an opening for a Social Worker in our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team, specifically within the Assessment and Review (A&R) section. You will assess, review, and progress plans for children in need and those accessing short breaks. Safeguarding is a critical aspect of this role.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Professional Social Work Degree or equivalent, registered with Social Work England.
* Experience: Post-qualifying experience in children’s services, specifically in assessing care needs and implementing care packages.
* Skills: Excellent communication, assessment, and planning skills. Ability to manage a complex caseload and work independently. Knowledge of statutory regulations and social work interventions.
* Other: Enhanced DBS check required. Driving license and access to a vehicle preferred.
