Exciting Opportunity: Experienced Air Imports Clerk at Leading Freight Forwarding Firm in London Heathrow
Are you an experienced professional in sea and air imports, looking for a dynamic role where you can make a real impact? Our client is seeking a dedicated Air Imports Clerk to join their vibrant team at the London Heathrow office, focusing on the operational needs of their sea/air department.

Key Responsibilities:
· Comprehensive Shipment Management: Handle ocean imports from A to Z, ensuring all bookings are processed efficiently.
· Customs Expertise: Execute all manners of customs entries within CDS, ensuring compliance and smooth operations.
· Customer Focus: Deliver a first-class customer experience by maintaining excellent communication and proactively updating customers on their shipments.
· Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, fostering trust and collaboration.
· Operational Excellence: Track shipments meticulously to ensure timely arrivals, and manage any delays with transparent communication.

Person/Experience Required:
· Industry Experience: Proven experience in a sea/air import operational role within a freight forwarding company is essential.
· Logistics Knowledge: Strong understanding of transport and worldwide logistics.
· Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
· Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities to manage supplier relationships and customer expectations.
· Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain strong, personable relationships over the phone and in person.
