Forklift Operative * Hourly Rate: £12-15 PAYE / £15-18 Umbrella

We are currently seeking a dedicated Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team on a temporary basis. The role is based in Canning Town and requires immediate start. A valid counterbalance forklift licence is essential for this position.
Day-to-day of the role: * Operating a counterbalance forklift to move goods within the warehouse.
* Loading and unloading deliveries and organising them in the storage area.
* Ensuring the safe handling and storage of goods to prevent damage.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse.
* Conducting regular checks on the forklift to ensure it is safe to use.
* Assisting with inventory counts and warehouse organisation.
* Complying with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
* Good physical fitness, as the role may involve manual handling.
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
* Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
