Job Description:
* Fully remote Field Sales position covering Dorset, Hampshire and Salisbury areas
* Back office administration support for order processing and administration
* Account Management as well as Business Development responsibilities
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / FIELD SALES JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is an exciting newly created opportunity to join a very well-established Manufacturing and Distribution business, with head offices in the Poole area.
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development / Field Sales Rep to take responsibility of developing their existing portfolio of loyal clients, as well as nurturing relationships with lapsed / past customers, and developing new contacts to further expand the company’s presence within the designated region.
With over 30 years in business, you will be joining market leaders in their field, and an organisation that are proud to partner with their clients, rather than focus on quick wins and short-lived relationships. * Managing your own online diary to schedule appointments and meetings (both in person, and via video / telephone calls)
* Working closely with the internal account managers and other colleagues who will support you with processing of new orders, quotations, delivery queries and any other administration tasks, to free you up time to focus on Business Development and field sales.
* Account Management – regular liaison and meetings with your customers
* Business Development – building relationships with lapsed / past customers, as well as focusing on bringing on new accounts and customers
* Build a presence and further enhance the brand’s reputation within your designated geographical location
* Manage your own time and diary effectively – you will be working with customers across a diverse industry portfolio, within the agreed Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire areas.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / FIELD SALES KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Previous experience in a similar Business Development / Field sales position, with confidence to bring on new customers and work towards ambitious growth targets and objectives
* Professional, commercially aware mindset with ability to build lasting relationships with customers at all levels.
* Previous experience of working in either a Distribution or manufacturing environment would be ideal for this role
* Strong presentation skills, with a good understanding of technology – essential
* Sound negotiation and persuasion skills are required, to ensure that are able to win business, achieve targets and objections and ultimately build long standing relationships
* Strong IT skills are essential – you will be working remotely, so will need to be able to manage an online diary that is visible to your support team, to help you with client meetings / bookings and any other administration support
* A positive, professional approach is essential for this role and to ensure that you can build partnerships with customers and internal colleagues alike.
* Organised approach to your work, time management and the ability to book your own meetings within your geographical reach.
* Experience of working towards agreed targets / KPI’s is essential, as you will be expected to deliver against agreed KPI’s to ensure overall success and efficiency within this field sales role.
* Self-motivated, driven and ambitious are all skills that will enable you to really develop within this role long term.

* Basic salary between £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus opportunity to earn bonus on a monthly and annual basis
