We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Childcare Worker to join our team, providing overnight support to young people in a residential setting. Day to day of the role:. * Provide care and support to youth in a residential environment.. * Create a safe and nurturing space that supports the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.. * Assist with the implementation of individualized care plans, focusing on goal setting and skill development.. * Encourage participation in educational, recreational, and life skills programs.. * Build positive relationships with youth and their families, involving them in the care process.. * Administer medication as needed and maintain accurate records.. * Work with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and meet the needs of each resident.. * Respond to crisis situations and maintain the safety and security of residents.. * Serve as a positive role model and mentor, fostering independence and empowering youth..
