Job Description:
Property / Client Accountant £45k - £50k DOE
An excellent opportunity for a skilled Property / Client Accountant has arisen with an expanding Property Consultancy based in central London. The Property / Client Accountant is an individual with a strong grasp of service charge, legislation and best practise, exceptional skills in complex reconciliation, and a solid understanding of Excel. There will be opportunities to develop your career. This position will offer a Hybrid working pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quarterly reconciliations of client statements.
* Quarterly cash reconciliations.
* Quarterly VAT report.
* Dealing with all client queries.
* Bank reconciliations - Monthly and quarterly. Daily bank reconciliations may be required in the future.
* Creating service charge budgets - setting it up on the system
* Producing Service charge year-end accounts for audit- On Residential, Commercial and mixed-use properties.
* Producing completion statements - for solicitors.
* Dealing with incoming and outgoing tenant/leases - charges and appointments.
* Purchase ledger, Credit control.
* Demand raising - monthly, quarterly and adhoc basis.
* Client statements (closures) - Monthly and Quarterly.
Experience required:
* Experience working as a Property / Client Accountant on Commercial or Mixed-Use Assets.
* Technical knowledge and experience using a Property Accounting Software such as /Yardi/Tramps/Qube/MRI.
* Experience with complex reconciliation
* Previous experience producing Service Charge Reports.
* Ability to communicate effectively with Internal and External Stakeholders.
* Excellent time management
