Our client specialises in the design, simulation, development and manufacture of powertrain systems, electronics, and software for Motorsport, Automotive and Marine applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management and be able to lead by example, demonstrating effective behaviours and providing clear direction whilst delivering an outstanding service.

Job Description
* Programming, setting and operating twin spindle turning applications.
* Using Siemens Sinumerik 828D and 840D Controls.
* Good understanding of Engineering drawings and GD&T.
* Maintaining high standards of documentation / product traceability.
* Working to tight tolerances.
* Using inspection equipment to check own work.
* Working with Design Engineers to make and suggest improvements to the design processes.
* Suggesting improvements of manufacturing methods.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
* Familiarity of twin spindle turning applications
* Experience of Siemens Sinumerik 828D and 840D Controls
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment using the above controls
* A logical approach to problem-solving
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Flexibility for working shifts.
