Job Description:
My client are a leading, well established freight forwarder they are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their successful team!
Daily duties will include:
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and attending industry events
* Implementing sales plans achieving defined growth targets and sales quota
* Maintaining and expanding existing business
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to compile proposals and presentations for prospective clients
* Prepare regular reports for management to track business development actives and results
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients
Experience needed:
* Freight forwarding experience is essential
* Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Working hours:
* Monday - friday 0900am -1730pm
