NLB Solutions are working with a large business in Watford in the search for a driven Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will report directly into the CFO and take responsibility for business support along with timely and accurate management reporting, budgeting, audits, receivable/risk management, cash flow management, maintaining robust business processes and coordination with the wider team. The business have been expanding for the last 10 years and have been working within a niche robust retail sector. With transactional teams off shored, this role requires an excellent level of communication skills.
The business are based in Watford and offer access to senior management that will mean the chance to take on more responsibility and growth as the individual becomes more engrained in the business. This role does have a great chance to become part of business that continues to grow.
Duties:
* Department and Entity-wise budgeting, forecasting and monthly MIS reporting.
* Reviewing, analysis and reporting of E-Commerce business and regular business.
* Risk management & Cashflow management - Receivables and Payables monitoring.
* Work closely with Business team for orderbook pipeline and provide active advice on various commercial aspects.
* Corporate Reporting along with various analytical reporting to CFO and the Board.
* Coordinating with Statutory and Internal auditors.
* Quarterly VAT Return.
* Inventory management & Reporting.
* Royalty Reporting.
Person Spec:
* Qualified Accountant or similar educational background with demonstratable experience of managing similar role and responsibility.
* Experience in management of accounting, banking and commercial aspects.
* Working closely with Finance Head and Managing Director.
* Good communication skills at all levels.
* Excellent technical accounting ability.
* Strong time management and the ability to multi-task.
* Proactive along with attention to detail.
* SAP knowledge will be preferable.
* Financial Analysis and reporting.
