SENIOR DEBT ASSOCIATE

They need a Senior Complex Debt Associate to work within their specific Lost and Legal Debt department. This individual will have specific experience in the litigation process taking accounts through the legal process.

The main responsibilities of the Senior Complex Debt Associate role are:-
* Chase High Value ’Lost Debt’
* Recognise accounts for escalation within the process
* Issue escalation letters
* Hold reviews with 3rd parties as required to ensure performance within SLAs
* Manage the 3rd party Inboxes
* Manage Legal queries
* Refer sites to relevant 3rd parties and manage the process
* Request, gather & collate witness statements as required
* Set up payment plans as required
* Manage payment plan tracker
* Organise Limited Company checks as required. Update our systems with Credit Safe updates
* Manage ’Strike Off’s at Companies House and oppose as required
* Maintain cases and Dashboards with events and payments
The ideal Senior Complex Debt Associate would meet the following criteria:-
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role is essential (previous Energy experience desirable)
* Ability to negotiate collections within a B2B environment
* Able to balance conflicting concerns
* Able to provide narrative and context on caseload upon request
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to confidently handle difficult customers and clients to get a positive outcome
* Able to identify situations that need to be escalated
