Job Title: Assistant Site Manager- Roofing

Job Description:
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Site Manager to ensure the smooth running of our construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing on-site personnel, ensuring safety compliance, and liaising with clients and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and execution of roofing and scaffolding projects.
* Oversee and manage daily on-site activities.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Coordinate with site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Site Manager.
* Address any issues or delays that may arise during the project.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
* Assist in the preparation of project reports and documentation.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on roofing and scaffolding.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
* Valid CSCS card and relevant site management certifications.
* A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
