Medium to Long –Term Funding Officer – Permanent, Offering Hybrid Working – 3 days per week on site in Central London, Salary up to £82,000 per annum
Reed Talent Professionals are partnering with a Global Investment Bank based in Central London, in the search for a for a dedicated Funding Officer to join the Medium to Long-Term Funding Desk. The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring and executing bond issues, providing liquidity to subsidiaries, and ensuring the smooth operation of funding activities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance and a keen interest in fixed income and capital markets.

Day to Day of the Role:
* Oversee issuance activities including senior unsecured and capital funding, as well as covered bonds issuance.
* Execute benchmark and private issuances, coordinating with both external and internal parties.
* Maintain and update debt issuance programmes and monitor financial disclosure requirements.
* Manage refinancing of group entities, including execution of intra-group loans and related services.
* Contribute to financial communication tasks related to issuance activity.
* Analyse, monitor, and communicate market data within the group.
* Improve IT systems procedures and develop new tools to support funding activities.
* Participate in transversal projects or requests in coordination with the finance department.
* Manage financial management tasks related to the London Branch activity.
* Train and supervise junior staff, including interns and young graduates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree in a quantitative or business field related to Fixed Income.
* Experience in finance in France or the UK.
* A fluent French Speaker would be beneficial
* Experience in a Debt Capital Market or Funding team (Front Office) is desirable.
* Proficiency in IT (Microsoft Office, Bloomberg/Reuters).
* Understanding of products (Fixed Income/bonds, loans, and derivatives).
* Debt Capital markets knowledge.
* Fluent in English and French.
* IT skills in VBA, Python are desirable.
