Job Description:
Overview
The Warehouse Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of goods in accordance with company standards and procedures. He/She will also maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy of all stock transactions as well as play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse
* Receive incoming deliveries, verify contents against delivery notes/purchase orders/quality claims and update records in SAP.
* Inspect incoming goods for damage/defects & promptly report discrepancies in line with set procedures.
* Safely and efficiently store products in designated locations within the warehouse, utilising appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet trucks.
* Pick & pack orders according to pick lists/instructions.
* Prepare packages/shipments for dispatch including labelling, palletising and shrink-wrapping as necessary.
* Book collections with couriers/hauliers using their nominated platforms.
* Monitor stock levels & follow guidelines for timely replenishment.
* Assist with all loading/unloading requirements for the site.
* Assist with physical inventory checks at regular intervals during the year.
* Operate warehouse equipment safely and report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse, including sweeping, stacking pallets, and disposing of waste.
* Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times, including proper handling of hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Follow company policies and procedures regarding Health & Safety, Quality Control, Security, and Regulatory Compliance.
Administration
* Create POs to replenish stock in line with company guidelines.
* Process customer orders for marketing materials & welcome packs.
* Manage delivery queries & questions from customers.
* Sort & distribute post to relevant parties.
* First point of contact for IT equipment, Building Maintenance, Stationary Orders & Office equipment.
* Assist QSHEE Department with Health & Safety coordination for the site.
* Maintain accurate records of all equipment on site.
* Update & maintain customer, supplier, employee contact lists.
* Assist Order Desk with general data entry.
Skills & Experience
* Secondary School Education or equivalent.
* Previous experience in warehouse, administration, logistics or related field.
* Familiarity with inventory management software or systems such as SAP.
* Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & Teams.
* Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification within designated timeframe.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
* Good telephone manner.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team environment.
* Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.
