Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a Trainee Project Engineer to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in Kintore
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Salary: £30K – £40K
Daily Duties –
* Prepare detailed quotations for projects including compiling all relevant engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and testing costs
* Creating and managing project plan, budget, and contract milestones
* Coordinate technical documentation required for bid submissions e.g. drawings and procedures
* Ensure manufacturing request forms, assembly/test forms, and drawings are issued correctly and efficiently
* Write in house testing procedures relevant to client
* Coordinate 3rd party or client inspection visits for witness testing 
* Attend client and internal meetings before and during projects to review progress
Candidate Requirements –
* Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
* Engineering background within either topside, process, pipeline or subsea
* Strong communication and organisational abilities
* Driving Licence
