Administration Team Leader
Exceptional opportunity for an Administration Team Leader to join one of UK’s leading Wealth Management and Financial Advisory specialist based in Spalding area. Main Responsibilities for the successful Administration Team Leader:
As a member of our team, the Administration Team Leader will be responsible for the performance management and motivating of team members on a daily basis and providing effective guidance for achievement of agreed business goals.
* To manage the day-to-day workload of the team to ensure positive client outcomes are achieved and minimise reputational and financial risk to the business, maintaining accurate records and producing regular management information.
* To set clear goals, delegate tasks and set deadlines based on individual team members’ strengths and skills.
* To regularly review processes and procedures involving team members and encouraging open participation, to ensure maximum efficiency.
* To handle, review and report client complaints following agreed company procedures to ensure FCA compliance.
* To carry out regular performance reviews and 1:1 meetings with individual staff members to ensure appropriate guidance, support and training needs are addressed.
* To create a high performing team through coaching, creating a positive continuous improvement culture, and identifying and addressing any training needs for individual personal development.
* To listen to team members’ feedback by resolving any issues or conflicts in an efficient manner.
* To sustain team morale, praise, reward and recognise individual and team achievements in line with company policy.
* To keep your own knowledge and skills regularly updated and ensure compulsory training completed in timely way to keep team up to date with latest regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* To act as a role model and lead by example. To respond to any other requests from your line manager within the scope of this role.
About the successful Administration Team Leader:
* Previous experience in team performance management within Financial Services sector.
* Technical knowledge, qualified or part-qualified (Level 4) to meet FCA requirements.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present detailed information.
* The ability to be tactful, diplomatic, and trustworthy as you will often be dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
* Strong team player, fostering strong working relationships across the company.
* Experience with financial planning software and excellent IT skills.
* Ability to manage team and individual performance and have a positive approach to continuous improvement.
* A role model to the team and everyone around.
