Location: Kingswinford, Dudley

Murry Myers Recruitment is seeking a motivated and experienced Goods In/Out Team Leader for one of our top clients in Kingswinford, Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a solid background in stock control and management, who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods In/Out Operations Management:
Oversee the entire goods in and goods out processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of stock.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and minimize delays.
Stock Control and Management: Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipt, storage, and dispatch. Implement inventory control measures to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce discrepancies.
Liaison with Purchasing Department: Work closely with the purchasing department to coordinate the timely dispatch and receipt of goods. Ensure that all incoming goods are checked for accuracy and quality.
Replenishment and Picking: Replenish stock levels as needed and efficiently pick stock from pick sheets to fulfill orders. Ensure that all picking and packing activities are carried out accurately and meet quality standards.
5S Methodologies: Implement and maintain 5S methodologies to create a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with 5S principles.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance and productivity. Conduct training sessions to upskill team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on stock levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all warehouse activities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on goods in and goods out operations.
In-date counterbalance forklift license with at least 2 years of practical experience.
Strong understanding of stock control and stock management principles.
Knowledge and experience of 5S methodologies.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with the purchasing department and other team members.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
Friday: 5:00 am - 1:00 pm
