Job Description:
Miles Recruitment have a great opportunity for a Service Controller to join a well established and thriving company who are committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to clients.
As Service Controller, you will be responsible for providing reactive incident and follow up maintenance to customers over the phone. Additional duties include:
- Liaise with internal and external customers throughout the incident, keeping them updated and informed of progress and investigating and resolving any ongoing problems and queries.
- Identify and escalate problems and queries outside area of responsibility to Team Leader in a timely and efficient manner.
- Establish the exact nature and location of the incident and progress to the appropriate team.
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues.
- Make recommendations to enhance customer service delivery and the effective use of resources, tools and equipment.
To excel in this position as Service Controller, it is important that you are able to maintain a professional manner when addressing customers and colleagues. On top of that, it is important you have a high standard of communication, being able to effectively liaise with both internal and external customers. Other job standards include:
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a large quantity of calls.
- To act in a manner which is efficient, orderly and timely, ensuring all tasks are achieved within agreed timescales.
- Treat all individuals with dignity and respect.
- Strong judgement & decision making
- Able to work on own initiative
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
