As they continue their ambitious expansion, Delifresh is seeking a passionate and proactive Buyer to join their team. You will be at the centre of Delifresh, sourcing new products & suppliers, negotiating prices and developing buyers’ assistants to improve their knowledge and skills and support their development .
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Oversee stock management and supplier diversity.
* Negotiate cost reductions and ensure competitive pricing.
* Review and manage supplier performance and SLAs.
* Handle supplier disputes and administrative issues.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
* Source new suppliers to meet company standards.
* Network at trade shows and stay informed.
* Develop new product purchasing strategies.
* Benchmark market data and improve KPIs.
* Train and mentor team members.
About You :
* Expertise in purchasing strategies and supply chains.
* Food procurement experience preferred.
* CIPS Level 5 (desirable).
* Knowledge of the hospitality industry.
* Proven in supplier relationship building.
* Effective negotiation skills.
