This highly respected law firm known for its expertise in employment law, is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Lawyer for this self-employed Consulting role. Job Description:
As a Senior Employment Lawyer, you will provide expert legal advice and representation on complex employment law matters. Your role will involve advising clients on a wide range of employment issues, representing them in employment tribunals, and developing strategies to handle employment disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic legal advice on complex employment law matters, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy, and employment contracts.
* Represent clients in employment tribunals and other dispute resolution proceedings.
* Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
* Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
* Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external experts to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
* Stay current with developments in employment law and advise clients on potential impacts.
Qualifications:
* Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 6 years of experience in employment law.
* Proven track record of handling complex employment disputes and tribunal cases.
* In-depth knowledge of employment law, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy, and employment contracts.
* Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
* Prior experience in a consulting capacity is a plus.
