Job Description:
Laboratory Technician
Pertemps Managed Solutions have been engaged to find a Laboratory Technician for a world renowned FMCG Organisation.
This role will be on site and is part-time, the contract is 3 days a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The contract will initially last for 7 Months. Some weekend and bank holiday working may be required.
Responsibilities:
* Hands on in the laboratory to perform a number of experimental procedures with attention to detail and strict adherence to standards of laboratory practice, in order to provide support for the delivery of the research plan across a range of competency areas. You will take and analyse samples within the laboratory.
* You will also be attending trial support team meetings, trial after action reviews (where appropriate) and liaising with research members on trial requirements and progress updates as a trial ambassador. Reviewing trials as to how well they achieved their aims.
* You will also be involved in risk assessments and equipment ordering / maintenance.
Requirements:
* Experience of working within a regulated lab
* Clear communications skills
* Flexibility to work some weekends and bank holidays
* Educated to degree level
