A requirement has arisen for a Structural Engineer with experience in structural design to join a growing dynamic business in the North West design team.
* Reporting to the Associate Director, this role will be instrumental in the growth of the company and supporting the growth of the northern design team.

Duties:
* Delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims, including subsidence, fire, impact, flooding and storm damage
* Completing site visits for residential and commercial building projects
* Delivering small to medium design projects
* Ensuring that the team reaches the monthly sales targets by driving business development
* Reporting to the Associate Director and providing progress reports
* Developing new ideas to help shape the future of the business
About You:
* Good degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (essential)
* 2 years post graduate design experience (essential)
* Proficiency in IT systems (essential)
* A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber (essential)
* MICE or MIStructE (desirable)
* Excellent communication skills, ensuring great customer service
* Excellent work ethic, willing to go above and beyond to support the company growth
* Passionate about new technologies, progressive change and continuous improvement
* Car owner and UK driving licence, able to travel to site
* All aspects of Microsoft Office
* Industry standard structural design software
* Proficient in the use of AutoCad/Revit
Structural Engineer (Design) - 37.5 hours per week with flexible hybrid working - Northwest, Liverpool, Manchester /Warrington and surrounding areas.
