Job Description:
Reed HR are working with an International Trading company based in City of London to recruit a HR Specialist on a Permanent basis. Salary circa £35,000 - £45,000 per annum. This job is a fully office-based role with days worked from the office each week.
This job will be a standalone role responsible for the full employee life cycle to support the development of a rapidly growing business. You will partner with Line Managers across the business on a range of generalist HR duties, including updating and reviewing policies and processes, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, performance management and more.
Some of the roles and responsibilities of this job are as follows:
- Support the business in a Generalist HR remit, supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
- Lead on the full recruitment cycle, working with line managers to identify vacancies, advertise them, short list suitable CVs, arrange interviews through to offer stage
- Onboard successful candidates, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice.
- Support the management of employee performance and assist in the processes from target settings to regular review.
- Work closely with Senior level stakeholders to design an employee performance evaluation. Coordinate relevant surveys and create reports from the results of the survey data.
- Lead on the management of employment relations casework, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, sickness/absence, and performance.
- Take responsibility for the management of HR data, creating reports on a variety of different HR related issues.
- Review and update HR Policies and processes in line with current UK employment Law and Legislation
- Undertake any additional adhoc duties or projects as required
This is a professional and demanding HR Specialist role, and to be successful it is ideal that you have worked within a similar position within a Trading company previously. You will be CIPD qualified and be confident to work across the whole range of the Generalist HR remit. You will be happy to manage all aspects of the HR employee lifecycle and not be afraid to work autonomously and get stuck in.
This role will require an element of international travel on a regular basis for an extended period each year.
