Job Title: Remote Operations Shift Manager
Location: Brinsworth, UK
Salary: Up to £60k with fantastic benefits including enhanced annual holidays

Are you ready to join an exceptional team? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to take on the role of Remote Operations Manager. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our client’s state-of-the-art plant. This plant enables 24/7, real time remote monitoring across all sites from one central location, ensuring the smooth-running of all operations nationally. If you have a passion for problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* The operation and monitoring of our plants, globally, on a 24-hour basis, with safety and efficiency in mind.
* Investigating any issues or disturbances that may arise in plant.
* Reporting on plant performance, monitoring KPIs and looking after alarm management.
* Ensuring customer demand is led appropriately to maximise cost efficiency.
* Recommending improvement strategies for any identified performance issues.
You should demonstrate
* A Higher National Certificate (HNC) or a higher qualification in electrical, instrumentation, chemical engineering, or a related process field, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
* Proficiency in analysing and resolving problems, conducting fault-finding, and investigating process issues through the interpretation of data trends.
* Being a proactive self-starter with a strong commitment to safety, you must be capable of making swift decisions to prioritize both business and safety considerations.
* Interest in acquiring new skills, fostering personal development, and embracing challenges.
* Previous hands-on experience in control room operations using Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) software such as SCADA/PCS7 Siemens.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate within a high-pressure team and fast-paced environment.
* While prior plant commissioning experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
* Upholding integrity and exemplifying inclusive workplace behaviours.
