Job Description:
Client Manager /Accountant, Holmfirth, £35,000+
Due to continued growth, an accountancy practice in Holmfirth is recruiting for an Accountant/Client Manager to join their team. There is the opportunity to progress to a management position.
Duties
* Accounts preparation
* Preparing corporation and business tax computations
* Managing a portfolio of clients, interacting with them on a regular basis
* Attending client meetings
* Prepare and understand budgets for clients
* Technical awareness for accounting and tax changes that would impact clients
* An ability to prepare management accounts and financial models in excel
* Training junior members of the team
* Assisting with remuneration/dividend planning
* Assisting with statutory audits as required on occasion
* Assisting with ad-hoc projects and accountancy work when required
Requirements
* Practice Accountancy experience, ideally AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, qualified by experience will also be considered.
* Experienced with completing year-end accounts
* Experience of mentoring junior members.
* Experience using Iris, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks would be desirable, training can be provided on the software systems.
