The role
We are working on behalf of a Runcorn based primary school to find an teaching assistant that can support on a 1-1 basis. Your day will be varied, supporting children in the classroom to manage their own behaviour and emotions, engage with tasks set by the class teacher, and reach their potential. You’ll be dynamic, resilient, and flexible; dedicated to supporting pupils to achieve and progress.
Requirements
Experience of working with children with SEND
Ability to build a good rapport with pupils and staff alike
A committed and dedicated character with a passion for supporting children
A good knowledge around the behavioural challenges and communication methods
