An opportunity has arisen for an Asset Manager to join a progressive organisation based in Birmingham. This is a brand-new role within a new team, offering you the chance to shape and define the asset management function from the ground up.
It will see you joining a supportive team and will allow you to play a pivotal role in future-proofing the regions transport infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
* Develop asset management plans for transport assets
* Act as a subject matter expert for asset management
* Ensure all assets meet relevant standards and requirements
* Work closely with delivery teams and asset owners
* Manage a small team and provide guidance to consultants
Your Expertise:
* Experience creating asset management plans and policies
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
* Capable of interpreting and writing complex technical reports
* Ideally you will have experience of asset management from transport, construction or engineering sectors
