Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an entry level Marketing Executive (Products) to join our team being responsible for marketing products within a specified business unit of the company. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, working alongside a team with specific individual marketing responsibilities, you will be an integral part of the department. The role would suit a recent graduate seeking to utilise their relevant Degree who has gained some marketing, sales or business support experience alongside your studies or since leaving University and now seeking a permanent role within a Marketing department. This role requires a good understanding of market dynamics, key products and target audience specifics. You will manage the marketing spectrum from website management and lead generation with marketing automation to social media engagement. The role would suit candidates with a relevant Degree in Marketing, Business Management or similar seeking the opportunity to join a marketing department for an international engineering company within a role that will be collaborating with and supporting sales teams.
We are a leading manufacturing and technical organisation and can offer job stability and the opportunity to work as part of a busy and professional team of 30 at our modern offices. The Marketing Assistant role will be working Mon to Fri with an early finish on a Friday. We offer contributory pension, death in service, life insurance, free parking and 23 days holiday plus bank holiday with a salary dependant on experience and a salary review after 6 months plus discretionary annual bonus. We can also offer hybrid working after successful completion of your probationary period.
Market and Product Expertise
Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of the market and the business unit’s key products.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to tailor marketing campaigns effectively.
Launching new products within allocated business unit from both a marketing and product dimension.
Ownership of all product data, keeping up-to-date and communicating updates internally/externally.
Website Management
Implementation, and SEO based optimization of the business unit’s website content and thereby ensuring that the website serves as a vital platform for lead generation and product information.
Lead Generation
Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns using a Marketing Automation System to generate high-quality leads.
Social Media Management
Create engaging content for various social media channels.
Schedule posts and interact with followers to foster social engagement and brand loyalty.
Monitor social media metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Budget Management
Collaborate with Central Marketing to plan and manage the marketing budget effectively.
Ensure all marketing activities deliver on expectations within the allocated budget and maximise ROI.
Sales Collaboration and Support
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure alignment between marketing and sales.
Support the Sales team in lead contacting and conversion of sales opportunities into closed deals.
To be successful you should have gained some commercial work experience, be educated to Degree level in Marketing, Business Admin or a related field and have a good understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques including SEO, SEM, and Marketing Automation Platforms. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
