Vacancy: Security Officer
Location: Yeovil, Somerset
Pay rate: £13.50ph
JHP Recruitment are seeking a Security Officer to join their client on a permanent basis, working to support a large manufacturing facility based in Yeovil, Somerset.
Main Accountabilities:
* Protecting a large manufacturing site, property, and site assets, whilst keeping both employees and visiting customers safe
* Carrying out regular foot patrols, both internally and externally
* Providing support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises
* Remaining alert and vigilant at all times to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening activity
* Ensuring health & safety procedures are always followed, recording and reporting all faults and hazards
Applicant Requirements:
* Valid UK driving licence
* 5-year employment references
* Full flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends
* Computer literate
Working hours:
* 42hrs a week
* 4 on 4 off days/nights rotating weekly
