Warehouse Operator
Warehouse Operator required! My client is a transport, logistics, container, and warehouse specialist, providing their customers with end-to-end logistics solutions. Due to company growth, they are looking for a warehouse operator with port or container/cargo experience to join their team.
Warehouse Operator - Responsibilities
* Receive, unload, and measure incoming containers and cargo.
* Maintain accurate records of container and cargo movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Ensure all containers and cargo are correctly labeled and stored according to company standards.
* Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to prioritise tasks and meet shipping deadlines.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Operate warehouse equipment to move and position containers and cargo.
* Interact with other departments and drivers in a professional manner.
Warehouse Operator - Requirements
* Experience with Destin8 and warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.
* Experience in cargo, containers, or the port industry.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Remuneration
* Monday-Friday
* Salary - £25,000 - £30,000
* Pension scheme
* On site parking
