Job Purpose *Provide high level oversight of a busy audit function, providing effective communication on all aspects of audit compliance across the firm.
*Review hot and cold audit and assurance files.
*Identify new audit guidance and processes in line with the ever-evolving auditing standards, emerging trends, relevant issues, and review findings.
*Manage relationships with external audit reviewers.
*Lead liaison with the ICAEW on audit compliance matters, including managing regulatory visits and implementing recommendations.
*Monitor audit training needs and champion professional development and compliance knowledge.
*Planning and performing on-site audit due diligence visits and following up on post-completion file reviews.
*Setting an example as a hands-on Director.
