Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Financial Controller, you must be ACCA / CIMA or ACA qualified, to oversee the finance function with strong FP&A and stock accounting skills. This role is integral to our client’s operation. You will be partnering with Heads of Departments and other Managers to deliver financial insight into commercial decision-making. A progressive role.

Day to day of the role:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including review and commentary on revenue, gross profit, margins, and variances.
* Provide financial data and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
* Submit monthly returns to corporate shareholders.
* Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budgets.
* Liaise with the commercial team on large equipment sales to ensure proper accounting in line with company policy.
* Prepare UK & Irish Payrolls for 3rd party processing, administer pension schemes, employee benefits, and submit returns to HMRC including P11D and PSA.
* Maintain and review all internal controls and procedures, implementing improvements as appropriate.
* Investigate variances or anomalies in sales margin reports, particularly relating to spares sales.
* Liaise with Auditing services to ensure compliance and oversee interim & year-end audits.
* Ensure accuracy and compliance with all taxation matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with at least 5 years’ experience within Finance
* Previous experience as a Financial Controller/Head of Finance/CFO/FD, ideally within a distribution/manufacturing business with exposure to stock accounting.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV/BC365) and JET/Power BI reporting is desirable.
* Excellent attention to detail and proficiency with Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP).
