Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor, (part-time is definitely an option) who wants to join a proactive Human Resources department within a leading Industrial/Manufacturing organisation based in South Manchester. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in offering expert HR advice and guidance to both managers and employees across the business.

Our client operates in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector and has a global presence with over 2,700 employees worldwide. Based in South Manchester, they pride themselves on their robust products and services which are utilised globally.
Description
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Self-Service HR Processes: Introduce lean procedures to enable colleagues and line managers to manage HR processes independently.
* Employee Relations: Handle employee relations cases in line with UK employment law, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
* Digitisation: Drive the digitisation of HR processes to enhance user experience and transparency with their HRIS (IRIS Cascade)
* Support and Upskill: Provide guidance and training to line managers on best practice HR processes and procedures.
* Administration: Oversee the administration of HR processes and procedures including company benefits.
* Employee Engagement: Drive engagement through communications channels and co-ordinating their regular team events
* Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement
* Project Support: Contribute to various projects aimed at enhancing the workplace environment.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment legislation and GDPR through the management of the annual UK HR audit.

A successful HR Advisor should have:

* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues in a professional manner
* Previous experience in a HR Advisor role, preferably within the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.
* A degree level qualification in Human Resources or related field.
* Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Proficiency in HR systems.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
