Requirements:
* Diploma or degree in social work, CQSW, CSS or equivalent, and registration with Social Work England
* Strong emotional intelligence and analytical skills to handle challenging social and family situations
* Proficiency in using information technology and related systems
* Car driver
Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and provide short-term interventions for children in need and their families
* Handle child protection enquiries and work collaboratively with the police and partner agencies
* Manage a caseload, achieving positive change and improved outcomes for children
* Utilize social work knowledge and emotional intelligence to make confident decisions
* Maintain accurate records using social work case recording systems
* Collaborate with partner agencies and professionals to provide effective social work interventions
* Promote the development and well-being of children, young people, and their families
* Facilitate permanency planning for children in care and ensure their safety and welfare
