I am seeking an experienced Secretary to join a dynamic team, which operates across the UK from their four regional offices. This role will be based in the clients York office.
You will be part of a team who provides a wide range of commercial property services on both a regional and national scale. With work spanning from handling large-scale, multi-party transactions to offering contractual advice to tenants and landlords. You will be part of a dedicated team of trusted advisors in a fast-paced and varied role, supporting legal advisors across a diverse portfolio of matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Opening files and conducting AML checks
* Producing documents, bills, and completion statements
* Handling correspondence
* Preparing and submitting SDLT returns
* Submitting Land Registry applications for registration
* Managing commercial property searches
The ideal candidate will have:
* Secretarial experience in commercial property
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive, dedicated, and self-motivated approach
* A desire to grow their career within the firm
