GSL Education are looking for a dedicated HLTA for a Primary School in Southampton to start immediately. This friendly school currently has an Ofsted report rated ’Good’.  You will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and supporting students in KS1/KS2. This can either be day-to-day work or Long-term depending on what you’re looking for and the needs of the school.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the classroom teacher to support lesson delivery and student learning
* Provide individualised support to students, tutoring and behaviour management
* Assist with classroom management, resource management, and assessment
* Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns
* Follow health and safety protocols and participate in professional development opportunities
* Adapt to various tasks as needed to contribute to the school’s educational objectives
To work with GSL Education as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you should:
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years


Requirements:
* In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
* Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education
* Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans
* An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application
* Have excellent team spirit and good behaviour management skills
* Be passionate about teaching and have a strong command of the curriculum
