Locum Blood Transfusionist - Band 6
Location: London
Duration: Minimum 3 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, core hours
Pay Rates:
£24 - £26 per hour umbrella rate
Job Description:
Conducting blood transfusion procedures according to established protocols. Ensuring accurate patient identification and proper handling of blood products. Monitoring patients during and after transfusions for any adverse reactions. Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintaining meticulous records and documentation of transfusion activities. Adhering to all relevant clinical and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant certifications (e.g., HCPC). Proven experience in blood transfusion procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
Immediate start available. Potential for extension beyond the initial 3 months based on performance and organizational needs.
