Interim Head of Finance | £400-500pd | Arts/Music Industry | 5- 6 month contract | 3-4 days in North London office

This Head of Finance position is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected organisation during a period of change. There could be a possibility of extension or permanent. This crucial role would be a vital position to effectively lead and develop the finance team and deliver both various reporting, strategic insight and oversee the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities
* Reporting into the CFO and deputising where necessary
* Leading and developing a team across financial control and management accounting
* Overseeing the budgeting, forecasting and delivery of these to relevant stakeholders
* Overseeing statutory reporting and delivering both quarterly and yearly accounts prep.
* Support in delivering the short and long term strategy surrounding
* Developing financial processes across the department and supplying opportunities for improvement across both systems and policies
* Preparing and updating Management Accounts, investigating variances, and identifying areas for improvement
* Oversee the payroll reporting and work with outsourced supplier

Person Specification
* A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
* An experienced accountant with strong strategic insight
* Ideally experience of working in an arts/music venue or experience in the charity sector however not essential
* A passionate and enthusiastic communicator
* Understanding of working in a complex finance function
* A strong and capable manager with previous management experience
* Ideally have an experience in overseeing or working with payroll
This is a great opportunity to work with a motivated, technically strong and passionate team. The position would be 3-4 days in their North London offices and has the opportunity to go permanent following a 5-6 month initial contract. Candidates would ideally be available at short notice however up to 1 month may be considered.
