Supporting PMLD students requires patience, empathy, and specialised skills to address their complex needs effectively. This profession gives an oppurtunity to directly impact the lives of vulnerable individuals. It involves not just academic support but also personal care, communication assistance, and fostering independence where possible.

You are expected to have the following:
* Experience working with PMLD students or in a similar SEN context preferred
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
* Ability to provide personal care and support as required
* Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with students with complex needs
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job summary:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to PMLD students in both academic and personal care tasks.
* Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and personal care plans.
* Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in learning activities.
* Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and parents to ensure coordinated support for students.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and well-being.
* Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
