Job Description:
Our client in the centre of Sheffield are adding to their HR team, creating a new role for a HR Administrator, based in the office Monday - Friday. The role requires someone with relevant admin experience in a HR setting. It comes at an exciting time of growth for the business and gives someone the opportunity to show their support skills in HR to make a real difference to the team.
Duties include:
* Ensuring all data and employee records updates are on the HR system at all times
* Calculating monthly absence management figures to report to management
* Responsible for the co-ordination of the time & attendance system - including project work
* Co-ordinating absence management documents and supporting line managers with procedures
* Creating contracts for new employees, arranging interviews, and general recruitment administration
* Providing admin support for documents relating to starters, leavers, and internal moves
* Maintaining and generating reports regularly
* Working closely with Payroll to ensure any changes/updates are put through smoothly
* Supporting Training by producing documents where required
* Supporting the HR Team in the production of process guides
* Ensuring HR-related information is communicated effectively across the business
We’re looking for someone with experience across several of the areas above, with exposure to working in a HR department or assisting with HR duties in a smaller business. This is a fast-paced role and needs someone who can use their existing skills and also learn new areas of responsibility quickly. We’re also looking for advanced IT skills - using MS Office packages daily to a high standard. Confidence when dealing with Line Managers, Management and all employees is essential, as are generally strong communication skills.
Although reporting to the HR Manager, the role will involve a lot of autonomous work, so we are looking for someone confident in their ability to make decisions, and to problem solve on their own initiative.
This is an office-based role Monday - Friday and offers 25 days holiday + bank holidays, healthcare scheme, pension, and discretionary employee bonus scheme.
