Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Kensington, W10 6SZ
Our client The Showroom Ltd is a rapidly growing high-end bathroom, plumbing, and electrical retailer based in Kensington, W10. They are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable person to work with a team of 4 in the accounts department at their head office (W10 6SZ).
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor and Accounts Manager, the role will primarily focus on:
* Matching invoices to relevant delivery notes
* Entering invoices into the system
* Ensuring correct pricing on invoices
* Raising and resolving disputes with suppliers and the purchasing department
* Allocating credit notes to invoices
* Preparing month-end payments
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This is an ideal first job in accounting after completing courses or university. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
* Excellent time management skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong administrative skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
* Keen eye for detail and accuracy
* Team player
* Ability to work under pressure
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Enthusiastic, personable, and energetic
