Job Description:
Are you passionate about retail and customer service? Do you have at least 2 years of experience as a dynamic Store Manager in a fast-paced retail store? If so, our client is looking for an exceptional Store Manager to join their team and run their model store in Newbury!
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and commercial success of the store. Your main focus will be on exceptional operational standards, customer service, and store presentation. With your strong leadership and management skills, you will drive the team to achieve sales targets, improve customer service, and increase profitability.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the store.
* Develop strategies and store policies to enhance customer service, drive footfall, and increase sales.
* Maintain exceptional store standards and foster a positive working environment for the team.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets, manage budgets, and control costs.
* Lead the team by example with strong organisational and management skills.
* Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring effective customer service management.
* Support the training of new hires and ensure continuous training for all staff.
* Collaborate with the Store Visual Merchandiser to create outstanding visual merchandising.
* Be a keyholder, responsible for opening and closing the store and ensuring security measures are in place.
* Process customer payments and refunds using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
* Manage cash, cash safe, and G4S lodgements.
