Job Description:
Demand Planner
Our client, a global award-winning business, is looking for a Demand Planner to join their team.
This role offers hybrid working and the opportunity for progression.
You will be working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and this role will comprise of approximately 70% demand planning and 30% supply chain functions.
Responsibilities include:
* Working with the commercial teams to develop detailed forecasts across channels such as retail, wholesale and ecommerce.
* Reviewing sales figures against forecast and investigate key drivers.
* Producing reports for senior management to include slow moving and discontinued stock.
* Stock management, flow and availability from international destinations to 3PL warehouses in the UK.
* Updating and implementing KPI’s to review accuracy of forecast data and stock valuations.
* Supporting areas of supply chain including imports, purchasing, invoicing and purchase order creation.
Ideally you will have at least 3 years demand planning, supply chain or stock management experience. You will be able to prioritise a high volume workload, working accurately and with great attention to detail. You will be commercially focused with good communication and IT skills.
